I am an experienced facilitator, a coach and a true believer in one’s professional and personal growth potential.
For the last 12 years in my core work, I have been a project manager and capacity builder supporting collaboration across institutions in Europe. I have been responsible for designing and delivering services to support international cooperation to address shared challenges.
My responsibilities varied from facilitating discussions on priority setting to defining specific goals, implementing actions, establishing and leading networks, designing and delivering capacity-building events, and contributing to monitoring and evaluating achieved. I am proud to see that some of the initiatives became practices, while others brought valuable lessons to learn from.
Being passionate about personal and professional growth and aiming to increase my capacities to support individuals and teams, in April 2021, I obtained a professional coach certificate. If at the start of my studies, I was learning coaching methods to improve my professional performance, later I got more interested in providing coaching services to others. Up to now, I have provided more than 60h of coaching sessions with individual clients outside my organisation. And I am practising coaching in my daily work with groups and individuals within the organisation I work. Coaching as the approach has become part of my work and my life.
Coaching themes I have worked with vary from personal and professional growth, life-work balance, to building collaboration, improving performance, setting goals and building capacities. Well-being and stress management are the latest topics I have been exploring.
Aside from my core occupation and coaching, I enjoy reading, meditation, salsa dancing and walks in nature. I am Latvian, living and working currently in Turku, Finland.
